Arid
Egyptian architecture was always sought after by Liandri locational scouts, but most
of the Egyptian temples were in such ruin that the fighters would succumb to greater
injury from the environment than from each other. When the Obelisk Temple was found in
an uncharted valley near Cairo, Liandri immediately purchased the property rights that
it was located on, knowing if it turned out to be a dud, they could at least gather profit
from tourism. Luckily though, the temple was in almost pristine condition, which would be
perfect for Liandri's new sport of InstaGib. As such, Arid was added to the battle circuit
and, while not appreciated by the lower castes of viewers, appeals to the eyes as well as
the trigger finger, and thus is a preferred arena of the upper crust.
